On Monday, 13 July 2020, in the evening at 18:21, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 118.80), a Citroen ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Citroen (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
