Peugeot and two other vehicles crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Friday, 17 July 2020, in the evening at 17:26, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 53.20), a Peugeot 806 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Peugeot (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
