Hit-and-run BMW driver runs off the road on the Vilnius–Lyda road
On Sunday, 11 October 2020, in the morning at 10:49, in Vilniaus city municipality, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 9.20), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
