Drunk Citroen driver hits a parked Ford and flees on Turgaus square, Skaudvilė
On Monday, 3 May 2021, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Turgaus square, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara Picasso and a Ford. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Citroen (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.90‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
