Land Rover hits a pedestrian at a crossing at Antakalnio and Šilo streets, Vilnius
On Friday, 30 July 2021, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilnius, on Antakalnio street, at the junction with Šilo street, a Land Rover Range Rover hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 22-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Land Rover (30 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
