On Saturday, 25 September 2021, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 103.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Renault Clio. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 78-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
