On Sunday, 5 December 2021, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Panevėžys, on A. Jakšto street near No. 21, a car ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of a car (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.26‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
