Opel hits a pedestrian at a crossing at Bačiūnų and Poilsio streets, Šiauliai

On Thursday, 16 December 2021, in the morning at 7:25, in Šiauliai, on Bačiūnų street, at the junction with Poilsio street, an Opel hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 47-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Opel (22 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
