Drunk Audi driver and two other cars crash in Ramučių village
On Sunday, 11 September 2022, in the afternoon at 12:49, in Kauno district municipality, Ramučių village, on Plento street, at the junction with Centrinė street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 Avant, a BMW 3er Reihe and a Volkswagen Caddy. One person was injured — the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (3.03‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
