On Saturday, 22 April 2023, in the morning at 8:30, in Vilniaus district municipality, Skirgiškių village, on Skirgiškių street, at the junction with Sodiečių 1-oji street, an e-scooter ran off the road. Two people were injured — the 23-year-old driver of an e-scooter (treated as an outpatient) and a 4-year-old passenger of an e-scooter (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of an e-scooter, who violated passenger-transport rules. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
