On Wednesday, 7 June 2023, in the afternoon at 12:31, in Panevėžio district municipality, Tičkūnų village, on Smėlynės street near No. 222, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 307CC and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Peugeot. He was drunk (3.85‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
