On Thursday, 20 July 2023, in the evening at 21:20, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Kairionys–Girsteitiškis–Balninkai regional road (kilometre 15), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Rover 420 and an Audi Q5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to keep a safe distance.
