Volkswagen Golf hits an e-scooter rider in Kulių village
On Sunday, 10 September 2023, in the afternoon at 15:35, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Kulių village, on Dobilo street near No. 5, at the junction with Kulių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf registered in Great Britain and an e-scooter. Two people were injured — the 15-year-old driver of an e-scooter (treated as an outpatient) and the 14-year-old driver of an e-scooter (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
