Motorcyclist flees after hitting a pedestrian on the Paverpenis–Burbaičiai–Mockaičiai road
On Sunday, 24 September 2023, in the afternoon at 13:03, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Paverpenis–Burbaičiai–Mockaičiai regional road (kilometre 9.30), a quad bike hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 64-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the driver of a quad bike (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance.
