On Monday, 4 December 2023, in the morning at 7:20, in Kaunas, on Vandžiogalos highway near No. 11, a BMW hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 71-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the BMW (30 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
