Drunk Volkswagen Touran driver hits an obstacle on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai road
On Monday, 11 December 2023, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Šiaulių street, a Volkswagen Touran hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (32 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.46‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
