BMW driver flees after hitting a pedestrian on Upelio street, Klaipėda
On Sunday, 17 March 2024, in the evening at 19:30, in Klaipėda, on Upelio street near No. 27, a BMW hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 23-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
