On Sunday, 16 February 2025, in the evening at 19:45, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street near No. 229, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Alfa and an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer SW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Alfa (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
