Volkswagen Caddy Life and BMW motorcycle crash at Nemuno street and Taikos alley, Panevėžys
On Friday, 4 July 2025, in the afternoon at 11:55, in Panevėžys, on Nemuno street, at the junction with Taikos alley, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Caddy Life and a BMW R 1200 GS registered in Sweden. One person was injured — the 43-year-old driver of the BMW (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (42 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
