Drunk, unlicensed Opel driver hits a parked Opel and flees on Taikos street, Vilnius
On Tuesday, 9 September 2025, in the evening at 21:54, in Vilnius, on Taikos street near No. 36, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Signum and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel Signum, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.94‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
