On Friday, 17 October 2025, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Kintų town, on Kuršių street, a Renault Megane Scenic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Renault. He was drunk (1.59‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
