Drunk BMW driver hits an obstacle at Nemuno street and Taikos alley, Panevėžys
On Thursday, 6 August 2020, in the evening at 22:32, in Panevėžys, on Nemuno street, at the junction with Taikos alley, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the BMW (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
