Hit-and-run, unlicensed Tesla driver runs off the road in Ramučių village
On Tuesday, 16 April 2024, in the evening at 22:44, in Kauno district municipality, Ramučių village, on Centrinė street, at the junction with Plento street, a Tesla Motors registered in Estonia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Tesla Motors, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
