Seat Altea and Opel crash on the Klaipėda–Liepoja road
On Monday, 28 July 2025, in the afternoon at 14:16, in Palangos city municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 30.15), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Seat Altea and an Opel Vectra. Two people were injured — the 36-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient) and a 74-year-old passenger of the Seat (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Seat (35 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
