Two BMW cars crash on the Klaipėda–Liepoja road
On Friday, 29 August 2025, at night at 23:41, in Palangos city municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja main road (kilometre 30.20), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW 520 and a BMW 330I. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW 520 (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
